Craig Goodwin soars above the rest on debut with Heart

Congratulations to Craig Goodwin, BEFC specialist coach on his brilliant debut with Melbourne Heart at the weekend.  Manny Koutroulis, BEFC Head Coach congratulated Goodwin on making the Heart squad ‘many of our players benefited from Craig’s work last year – both boys and girls – they benefited from from his enthusiasm (he was always the last to finish) and his demonstrations of high level skill. It was great to see our Eagles players and supporters in the crowd cheering Craig on'.  Craig will return to our Specialist Coaching team in 2012 and we wish him well for the future.

BEFC Equipment Manager

We would like to thank Lou Bergamin for taking on the role of our Equipment Manager for our 2012 season. BEFC has grown substantially over the last 6+ years and of course, so have the number of tasks required to run it. We now number a membership of over 600 , from the little kids U6 doing skill development on Saturday mornings, to about 35 teams in club competitions.

We have accrued quite an investment in  equipment but have seen the importance of having someone designated to be ‘point-of-contact’ throughout the season, mainly for maintenance and replacement. So again, we thank Lou for taking this up. If you have any queries regarding our equipment, or indeed any new equipment suggestions please don't hesitate to pass those ideas onto Lou via your Team Manager or Coach.

Players and parents please keep an eye on FFV website (www.footballfedvic.com.au) as they are currently releasing information that is useful to know before the season.  For example: League structures are currently being released and updated for all competitions, insurance details, small sided football information and Coaching courses are available.
