Suggested Routes to Fairlea West Oval

We know that traffic can be heavily congested around this area at the time of our training sessions.

Here are some suggested alternative routes for you to try:

DON'T use Chandler Highway or Bulleen Rd

Route 1

1) Studley Park Rd, over the river towards Collingwood

2) Turn right into Trenerry Crescent (just over the river)

3) Then thru Clifton hill: right into Gray St, straight ahead into Yambla St, left into Wright St, right into Fenwick St. 

4) Turn right onto Heidelberg Rd

5) Turn right into Yarra Bend Road

6) Turn left to Fairlea Rd

Route 2

1) Burke Rd, over Freeway and Yarra (busy but not as bad as Chandler highway)

2) Left into The Boulevard (just over the river)

3) Left into Heidelberg Rd

4) Left into Yarra Bend Rd

5) Left into Fairlea Rd
