About Us

Boroondara Eagles Football Club Inc. is an equal opportunity Football Club formed to provide players in the Boroondara City area and surrounds with high quality facilities and excellent coaching. BEFC provides teams for Small Sided Football (SSF) for members from 5 years to 11 years, with Junior Teams from U12 through to Under 16. Boys and girls participate evenly across the age groups. In 2011 the club added Senior Women’s teams to our Men’s teams, providing opportunities for Junior players to move into the senior ranks. Over 600 playing members and their families belong to our club and participate in competition governed by Football Federation Victoria. We are proud to acknowledge the support of our main sponsor, the Bendigo Community Bank, Balwyn, Canterbury, Ashburton and Surrey Hills Community Bank Branches.

Coaching

In 2012 Manny Koutroulis returns as Head Coach to lead all club teams. Manny brings a wealth of experience to the club and has established a strong structure using both new and experienced existing coaches.

Management

The BEFC Executive Committee is responsible for the management of the Club's operations and is led by founding member and President, Graeme Smith. The committee meets regularly to coordinate all aspects of the organisation. Day to day operations are the responsibility of the Club Administrator, Marg Stammers, who liaises with members, Coaches and Football Federation Victoria.
