Welcome to Boroondara Eagles F.C.
Boroondara Eagles FC is a community-based soccer club. Our home ground is at Macleay Park, Belmore Road, North Balwyn (Map and Directions)
Our club represents more than 500 playing members and their families. The majority of our members are Boroondara City residents from the suburbs of Camberwell, Canterbury, Kew, Balwyn and Balwyn North, Surrey Hills, Glen Iris, Hawthorn and Hawthorn East.
Our members participate in 4 Senior teams, 24 Junior teams (ranging from Under 10s to Under 18s) and 111 small-sided games participants (for the 6-8 age groups).
Our club promotes soccer as a healthy sporting activity and we nurture in all our members the values of team work and competitiveness, fair play and sportsmanship. We encourage diversity and welcome children, young adults and adults from all backgrounds.
Our teams participate in competitions governed by Football Federation Victoria. Matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. Our teams train during weekdays and weekends at Macleay Park.
New Senior Coach Appointed

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Bernie Parkin as our Senior Coach.
Bernie’s football playing career began with Middlesbrough and Darlington in the English FA. He has since played in the New Zealand National League with Wellington City and the Victorian State League with Melbourne Hakoah St Kilda, Sunshine City, Western Suburbs, Bell Park Geelong, Heidelberg City and Coburg City. He began his coaching career at Heidelberg City and then Coburg City. He was the founding Senior Coach for Trinity Old Grammarians SC and in 2005 was Assistant to Bobby McGuiness for the Victorian Under 15 Boys State Squad. Bernie took a break from coaching in 2009 and is now looking forward to the challenge at BEFC. Please join us in welcoming Bernie to our club!
New Administrator (Junior Club) Appointed

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Marg Stammers as our Administrator - Junior Club.
Marg is an Interior Designer by profession and has a daughter who has played in a Boroondara Eagles Junior team for the past few years. Marg has previously worked as the Club Administrator for a soccer club in Sydney with 650 members where she was responsible for all aspects of the club including member registrations, training and match scheduling, event planning, equipment management, maintaining accounting records and communicating with members, parents, coaches and team managers, local council and other soccer clubs. We are lucky indeed to have a club parent with Marg's background and experience to step into the all-important role of Junior Administrator. Please join us in congratulating Marg on her new role!
